35th's Logo
1. A star represents not only excellence and achievement. For 35th, it represents unity too.
A corner of a star appears to be just a triangle, but when five of them come together, they shine.
Similarly, as a council with five different committees, each with its unique strengths and roles, we can shine only when we are one. This also explains why all the corners of the star and number '35' are joined together.
2. Everything is linked up; thirtyfifth ending with a speech bubble and a star.
portrays 35th as a fun, vibrant group of fifty different individuals who are cohesive to form ONE.
the speech bubble emphasises the fact that council is the voice of the student body, and star, our aspirations and beliefs.
the handwritten/cursive quality shows 35th to be personal, sincere and heartfelt.
3. A shooting star, with the 35 forming a blazing trail with an arrowhead directing upwards. Screams NDP though. Dynamic. Inspiring. Symbolises the hope and aspirations we have, and the burning passion inside us that motivates us to succeed and reach for greater heights.
4. Multi faceted but standing strong as one. Together, we strive with vigour and verve.
5.
5.STAR
'A star represents not only excellence and achievement. For 35th, it represents unity too.

HANDS
As the 35th students' council, we work hand in hand not only with our fellow councilors but also with the school and the student body.
We build excellence and unity with our own hands.
So how now people? Each has its own flavour, its own style and its own meaning! To me, all are great designs, but which is the one that will represent our council the most? You decide! Take the poll at yahoo groups to decide which logo wins! The winning logo gets to be printed on our council tee and other stuff. So what are you waiting for? VOTE NOW!
*gosh im crapping*

Investiture Logo
And the Selected LOGO
1. Aesthetic Aspect (which almost all 4 did well)
2. Feasibility (whether it can be used)
3. Meaning
4. Creativity.
It was then decided that....

In just 2 days...
Sometimes, we wish that we could have 4 investiture so that we can use all 4. But only one will be chosen, sadly.
1. J'Aspire- A pilot dream
The role of council is similar to that of a pilot, to lead and to give direction. It is every pilots' dream to fly and every councillor ASPIRE to serve and lead.
2. j'aspire-i inspire
made up of dynamic and stylized figures, together we aspire
(The required word will be put into this logo)
3. Palm print with wings.
The pair of wings symbolises the 35th taking flight. We aspire to soar.
Palm: The 35th has the council's fate in its hands. We have the ability to excel. Hence we aim to do our best, and strive for the best.
4. 'J' aspire', means 'I aspire' in French. The wings symbolizes taking
flight. Together, this logo represents our dream- the 35th student
council's hopes and dreams for a fantastic term ahead.
I applaud the art directors' commitment and effort to hand in such satisfactory works on time. No matter whose works are chosen, we love all 4 all the same. Work hard! Because we will have more stuff to do.

Hello world.
The 35th Students Council Publicity Comm was formed. This group of 10 highly enthusiastic individuals are about to rock the school with smashing designs, ass-pwning websites, earth shattering MOCH reports, and effective television messaging system(TMS). Are you ready for the most unique, most special 35th PubCo 2008?
Ok enough of that crap. I am glad and confident of leading this years' pubco because we have with us a group of talented and committed councilors. We are one diverse bunch, our committee does not define our personalities, but it is our personalities that defines what 35th PubCo will be. Thats the unique part of Pubco!
Some of the members of Pubco may never considered PubCo as one of their option, but all I have to say is that arranged marriage can be happy too, and an unarranged marriage do have an equal chance to end up in divorce. I hope all our members will give pubco a chance and I am sure that the love for pubco will grow.
Hopefully in the terms ahead we will know each other better, appreciating our similarities and celebrating our differences. Lets make this a good one, Pubco35!
